How much HP/Torque can I expect?
The car is in the shop as I write, and I am just curious to speculate.
What the car has now (engine):
Stock 01 Z06 with Kooks LT Race headers, no cats, x pipe, stingers, halltech T1. The car has a mild tune for road race and rev limiter set to 6800. The last dyno on 93 octane was 364hp and 365tq.
What is getting installed:
G5X3 cam package from LG 921 springs, titanium retainers, chromoly rod
ASP underdrive pulley
Ported Throttle Body
Double roller timing chain
Ported LS6 oil pump
160 thermostat
fans set to 190
DeWitt radiator/oil combo cooler
I know not all of these items contribute to power, but I wanted to mention them anyway. Besides the new valve train, the LS6 heads will remain 100% stock non-ported.
