Need tuner recommendations for the Southeastern US
I am considering getting an '02 coupe and modding it instead of an '02 ZO6 (on order) as I loved taking the targa off my '98 Coupe. The 6 speed comes with the ZO6 specific clutch, according to the window sticker.
Norris Motorsports seems like a reputable tuner, as well as MTI in Texas. Any others in the southeast I should consider? I'm in the Atlanta area.

Seriously, you can mess around with other shops and get so so results, or just go to MTI first and get bang up results.
What other tuner has a C5 in the 9s reliably?

In addition to the ones mentioned, HESCO in Birmingham, AL would provide you with an option. They have enormous experience with NASCAR AND IMSA race engines (and racing) and have built me a number of interesting projects over the years. They can mod your car in any number of ways, including installing heads/cams, etc. from any of the tuners. One nice benefit of their race experience is that they are very knowledgeable about "tuning" present day electronicaly controlled engines, and are quite used to working with cpu programmers to tweak, and problem solve the custom programs that are often necessary to get the most from the mods you install.

Mike Norris, or MTI....both are great tuners.
Mike has a small shop and does great business and we all know MTI is great also, I don't think you can lose either way. :smash:

I had heads/cam/headers and other work done by Norris motersports, he knows his s*it, has fair pricing and is a great guy to work with. MTI has a great rep as well, call me crazy,but as far I know Texas is NOT in the southteasten US :cheers:

Daniel Lee is a big time bad boy....been in jail for car hijacking and doesn't even have a drivers license now. I think he busted out this last time to look for another C5 to add to his collection. So, stay clear of him. Instead, give me a ride in the C5 and I will rush down to MTI and say "lets do it". I am out on Logan Martin lake... I can meet you in Bham and unlike Daniel, will buy you a steak :D
