Post this up on C5 Perf Results or C5FI/Nitrous sections. It might get you a quicker reply. HTH

Hi from new braunfels... In late 03 they changed to the C6 fuel system. It just moves the fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter to inside the fuel tank. The fuel tanks themselves also were change as was the location of the fuel pump bucket...

w00t for central TX!

So what practical effect does this have for the car? I mean... does it really matter as to which system you get?

Doesnt really matter unless you are planing to make over 600rwhp. I am currently running out of fuel.. So I am going to do a few upgrades... I was making 530rwhp with a Boost a pump without any fuel pressure drop..

On a side note I'm still using that LM1 wide band you sold me..Thanks

Ok cool... I was making about that in the SS but don't plan on doing that to the vette.

P.S. I didn't even recognize ya on here... but now that I do, glad to hear the LM1 is still kicking!

they operate a little different[ffs runs a little higher pressure],ffs has 2 pressure regulators in the tank.ffs' fuel system is all integral, fuel pump/senders are in the top of the tank.the old system has them in the bottom.the design basically is that ffs runs with a lower fuel temp[fuel is cooler] than the old system.it's basically for lowering emissions.ffs is less likely to vapor lock due to the cooler fuel temps.
