Wierd problem with history...
-I was driving down the freeway one day and went to pass a car, and my car said reduced engine power in the display and I had almost no power so I pulled over. I turned the car off for about 5 minutes and the preoblem went away and never returned.
-A few months later (present time)...every once in a while (mainly when I hit a bump in the road) the car display puts up an error that says the abs, and traction system are not working.
-every once in a while (every 5-15 days) the fuel gauge will completely turn off and go to "E" even if its at a full tank. It will do this for seemingly no reason. Then it will "magically" function corectly, sometimes during the same car ride or sometimes after the car is turned on and off a few times.
Are any of these events related??? does anyone have any idea what is going on???? Do i need to call an excorcist on my car??? Please help!!
1]reduced power-if you had a leaking battery, pull the right front fender inner well and look at the tac and pcm harnesses.you want to make sure they are not corroded including the connectors.the ground for the pcm, bcm, ipc, sdm comes out of that harness and bolts to the block.early cars also suffer from flukey tac controllers.next time it happens, get the fault it stores.
2]abs/traction- look at the harnesses and extension harnesses on each wheel.the pins like to spread and create intermittant connections as the control arms move.this is also common on early year cars as the later cars run the newer type terminals, but even then the newer cars can still suffer from it.once again, when it happens grab the faults.
3]fuel gauge-go get a bottle of techron and on your next fill up,dump it in,run the car down, then on the next fill up,use a half bottle.more than likely it will be back to normal.

Also, the techron, is that like a fuel injection cleaner? How will the techron help?
Thank you for your reply.
