Default What can I expect??????

I have a 98 C5 and am considering installing the airbox assembly with the air bridge from a 2003 Z06.

What kind of performance gains can i expect? Car is currently bone stock.

Is there any reason this would not bolt up without issue?
It should fit but i dont know.

You may see some improvement due to the opening slot in the airbox lid being bigger, but the rest of the box and airbridge will bring you nothing. Airbridges are a visual mod at best.

Add the Z06 airbox lid with a K&N filter and you will start to breathe better, and your throttle response will be better.

You can add the airbox lid, I did to my 1998, you will see some improvement in horsepower (small), throttle response, and it will sound better. The four air holes on the 1998 air box cover are very small.

I'm not sure the air bridge will bolt up, the throttle body may be a different diameter. The air bridge would not IMHO make any difference anyway.

Hard to access, lubricate the rubber studs. Took me 20 minutes.

You can buy the lid from any Chevrolet dealer that sells Vettes. Mid America sells the lid and K&N together as a "kit" if I remember correctly. Fred Beans (supporting vendor) may have the best dealer pricing!
