JPR, Inc Velocity Ported MAF
I recently installed Jay Fisher's velocity ported MAF. This is the same guy that has the electric water pump under construction.
For only $75.00 on an exchange basis this is a pretty good mod. The Hardtop pulls much stonger now. Overall drivability is greatly improved.
What is a velocity ported MAF? It's basically a descreened ported MAF. However; the porting is done in conjuction with a flow bench. The idea is not to open up the MAF (ie Granetelli MAF) but to improve the SPEED (velocity) of the airflow.
