Trying to decide on next power mod
Goal -- 11.5 second car that won't break
Choices:
1) Fast 78mm, Shane ported TB, Granetelli MAF, 1:85 Rockers, Comp 918 springs, retainers = $2000 self installed plus $300 tune
2) Custom porting and polishing of cylinder heads; high performance custom ground roller camshaft, valve springs, and chrome-moly push rods; titanium valve spring retainers; custom PCM; engine assembly, performance dyno tuning, and chassis dyno testing = $3800
3) 3:90/4:10 Rear differential with hardened output shafts and "better" clutch -- $2500 all parts and labor
Not sure of option 1 gains or if my cost estimate is correct, please give me you best guess. Option 2 will yield 400 plus rwhp and is a fixed price
Thanks for your time. This will give us Northeasterners something to do while the snow falls

I have a cam only in my 01 A4 along with all the bolt-ons. Dyno was 391rwhp and runs 11.6's so far at the track in hot and humid South Florida.
Still getting her dialed in.

Recognized the writeup ugh
Is the one I was leaning towards but was interested in other opinions as well. Plus, there is nothing else to do today until the snow stops
Also, I think the Clutch and Hardened shaft should be done with 2 as well.
cam w/ 918/921 springs, at least .580 lift/224 duration
LS6 heads w/ the G5X3 cam will put down about 420rwhp
RE: #3, i'm upgrading a diff w/ the hardened shafts in a few weeks for an A&A Procharger car, i'll let you know how it goes
