Default self Dimming mirror Conversion Question

Anyone ever converted the mirrors on an 01/earlier Vette to the self-dimming type on the 03-04 models?

My understanding is you just need the drivers mirror, inside rearview, and the driver's door harness with the wire that runs up to the inside rearview.

Just looking to see if anyone else has done this as I hate having truck headlights behind me shining in my mirror.

Thanks for the link to the ISRV mirror, but no, I am going to attempt both mirrors. I understand the ISRV to be relatively easy, but I would like to go for the whole enchilada and see if I can get the driver's door mirror done also.

Sorry, the driver side mirror requires the door harness from that option and yes it does hook up to the new mirror. I looked into it, way to much work and parts for one mirror to dim
