I was wondering if anyone knew what a stock 60ft. time on an 98 A4 would be(not zo6). Also, about how much fast would that time be if i put in 3.42 gears, yank 3000 tc, vortex rammer, and got it powerloaded.
well if you relly mean 60 foot times it all dependens on your launch, 2.2s/2.3s stock an 1.7s to 1.8s with mods an drag radials/now if it 0 to 60 mph you want then the stock is like 5.3 sec., with mods 4.5 sec or better
I purchased a '98 a4 coupe two weeks ago and took it to the track the first weekend I had it. In 100 degree heat and 75-80% humidity, i'm in Louisiana. Here are my numbers 60' 2.147sec, 1/8 9.155@79.62, 1/4 14.097@99.07. I immediately hot lapped it. 60' 2.171sec, 1/8 9.227@79.34, 1/4 14.18@98.70.
The car was completely bone stock with on 11,000 miles on it. The air filter was nasty to say the least, it had to be the original. I have since changed plugs to NGK tr55 with new Taylor 8mm wires and felt a much improved difference. Also, install a new MTI ram air intake earlier this week, made it even better. I have got to believe that the soiled air filter was causing me to not have the top end that most stocker do.
I have not had it back to the track yet but will shortly. BTW, My son's 2000 Formula M6 dusted me that day. REVENGE is coming!!
