Need some experienced help: Replacing transaxle / clutch
I'm about to replaced my broken transaxle with a new one..
I need some people to give me some information on replacing the stock output shafts with hardened output shafts. I have both shafts now, and I have the second gear that I will need to do the swap. I'd like to know if anyone has any _good_ how to's with the correct torque specs for all the bolts.
Secondly, I have a general idea of how to drop the cradle, shocks, transaxle, torque tube, etc.. but nothing in depth and I'd like to have a good understanding of everything involved before I start getting too dirty. I will be doing this in my garage, unfortunately I Wasn't able to get a lift in time.
Third, I will be replacing the factory clutch with an exedy twin disc & a z06 master/slave w/ remote bleeder.. and I'd like to know if anyone has any input involving that.
Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!
