i just got my car back, and i put 315's on the back, and no everytime i acclerate especially around 50-60 the traction comes on and basically shuts it down. IT only lets me goe "fast" when I turn it off, could the wider tires cause this, or is there something else wrong
In the standard specs, the diameter of front tires is one inch smaller than the rear. Many guys run the same diameter tire front and rear and have no problem. Looking at the diameter of the size installed in your car, we can see that the rears are smaller than the front. I would say that this is why you have this problem.

You should be running 315/30/19 in the rear. The TC/AH system is really sensitive to having the rears too small in OD.
Don't worry, the 30 series rubber will be much better for traction anyway!

You have to keep the rear tires taller than the fronts.
My car did that when I had 305/30-18 Fronts and 315/30-18 Rears. Now I run a 285/30-18 in the front and its fine. It was real annoying. I also recalibrated my speedo (hp tuners) with the 315/30-18's since they are slightly shorter than stock. You need taller rear tires or shorter fronts
