Just stuff the rubber grommets into the holes where you removed the stock screws and sheet metal clips. When you screw in the new screws, the rubber swells and holds the snap. Sometimes they don't hold well. I would definately keep the bra in the house before you install it because it's a lot easier if it isn't frozen stiff .
The GM bra is good, but the directions suck! Mine was missing one of the screws also-quality control?
I contacted the manufacture and they sent me more of the course snaphead screws. The instructions are a joke and the rubber/fine screw setup is retarded and I told the company that and they told me that they would evaluate that.
Go to a quality hardware store or upholstery shop and get stainless steel screws with the button head for the bra snaps. They replace those mickey mouse grommets and screw right into place. I think those six screws cost me $2.20.
