gas and trunk release not working

Had some work done on my 98 convertible and when I got it back the gas and trunk release buttons do not work. I reprogrammed the remote fob and can operate the trunk with that but cannot figure out why the release buttons won't work. I checked all fuse and they were fine. Any ideas??????
