Default How did you mount your Raptor?

Seems like a pretty easy question, but I don't want to screw it into the A-pillar plastic and have it leave a hole.

I've tried the double-stick tape, but that damn corvette interior plastic is like Teflon, especially in the cold!

So, any sticky suggestions?

Any kind of glue that would work would leave a worse mess.

I screwed mine in and advise you do the same.

Nobody will notice a little hole anyway if you sell the car. By then you will probably leave the shiftlight in the car 'cause they'll be something better out that you've just got to have. (MY biggest problem!)

Worse case scenario, get another a pillar from a junk yard...but why?

My $0.02 for what it's worth.

Get the dual gauge pods that go over the factory A-pillars. When installed they look really close to factory.

I like the looks of that a lot, ESPECIALLY with a Autometer Cobalt Gauge installed!

But what kinda gauge would be good in the pod with a basically stock motor?

Mine is mounted in the center vent. That way, the only time you see it is when you need it.

Have mine mounted on the pillar with the double stick tape. Cleaned the pillar real good with alcohol and have not had any problems with the light not sticking.
