Default Yank Converters

I'm ready to take the next step and move up to 3:42's and a Yank Converter. I will also be ordering a PL II and plan on installing all three mods at the same time. I have found competive deals on the gears and the PL II but, I can't seem to find to many venders for the Yank Converter. Where is everybody ordering theirs from?

Thanks for the great words guys, but are you insinuating I have no life and live on the forum??

We are a YANK and Powerloader dealer and offer very competitive pricing on both. It sounds like what you are looking for is a YANK 3500 converter to go with 3.42 gears. That seems to be the most popular and best performing combo out there for a streetable C5. We can set you up with a good deal on the Powerloader and the Converter, so drop me an email and I will get you some pricing.

Yank converters are garbage. Ever since I put mine in I burn more gas, eat rear tires for lunch and rarely lose a race. I can't beleive I spent my money on this. If your smart and want maximum fuel efficiency, your tires to last forever and lose to a Camaro here and there keep what you have. To beleive I did all of this for a 12 second car.................................with the air on

I got my Yank ST 3500 2.5 from Tom Byrne on a GP. I hear MattG has good prices also.

Now the Powerloader, I just would not get. I would go with Ed Wright. Same thing and better service. Much better. I ordered a second P2 July 2 or so and was told TWO WEEKS. Well here it is August and 6 weeks later no go. Ed Wright and Cole do the same thing. One just gets the product out better and can support you better. I am calling Cole on monday to either to hear that my order will be shipped or I am canceling. I did the did many month wait thing and felt like a totally abused customer. Second chance and so far FAILURE. :mad :mad
