6l80e conversion kits available yet?

As the title says, I am wondering if any vendors are offering retrofit kits for the 6l80e to go into a C5.

Not that I've heard. Still lots of issues (tuning for example) that would need to be addressed.

Assume for a moment that you could migrate the paddle shifter to a C5. I wonder how practical it would be to dispense with the automatic shift. Could you drive it like a manual transmission? Would it be comfortable to drive that way?

I started threads in several vette forums on this question a few months ago. I ttt them occasionally to see if there is any new info. So far nothing.

I would love to have the A6 in an 02 Z06.

It'll probably be a while before this is available. And when it finally is available, be prepared to shell out a lot of $$$!

I've read nothing but positive reviews for this transmission. It is built to handle an enormous amount of torque. One of the reviews even got better times(1/4mile) in the 6l80e than they did with the M6. Pretty impressive.
