air sencor issues
I had my old 99 rims swaped out for my new c6 rims... after change the valve stems were leaking and the shop told me I had to remove the air sencors and install the valve stems that came with the new rims. I did that and the tires no longer leak air but every time I start the car I get the service sensor mesg. that I have to reset.. I this sounds petty but it really bothers me... Is there anything I could do????

Yes, the shop knows nothing about Corvette tires ,rims or sensors.
When removing 1st generation sensors and reusing them, you need a new "O"ring washer. Your 99 sensors would have been fine, they require that the nut be torqued to 106 in pounds. 9 ft lbs.
You can not do anything to stop the warning on the DIC.
Your 99 sensors are eight years old. I suggest you buy 2 new sensors from gene Culley at Fred beans and two washers and two nuts,.
If you still have your old sensors, take a look at the date stamp on the sensor... IT is a molded in circle that looks alittle like a clock, it will indicate the month and year of manufacture.
