Does anyone know how to remove the black door sill covers? I did a search but could not locate any information. Thanks

The black sill covers are glued on with adhesive; much like a vinyl decal. One removed, I believe they are done. You can buy new EOM ones or someone here on the forum makes some great looking stainless stell covers that covere a larger area than the stock ones.

When I removed mine I used a heat gun on the first one. It left a lot of glue behind to remove. I then used 3-M adhesive remover to remove the glue. On the second one I just pulled it off and the glue remaining was substantially reduced and it came off just as easy.

Thanks guys, but just to be sure, I am talking about the black sill portion that is inside the vehicle nearest to the seats, not the very flat almost triangular piece with the Corvette Logo. Thanks again.

Pull up on the rear portion first, get the thing to about a 30 degree angle, then pull back toward the rear to get the front plug out.

Why are you doing this? Stereo? Seats - please clue us in......

As above, they are "snapped in" by (4) retaining clips/tabs. One is located at the front vertically, 3 along the bottom. Start at back and gently pull up and then away at front of door. I've had mine out a couple of times for stereo and insulation...

Be careful putting them back in. When I insulated mine, the extra thickness made the fit a little tight, and I managed to break off a couple of the little clips on the re-install.
