ls7 clutch swap hydrolics question?

I am in the middle of swaping out my c5 clutch with an ls7. There was a thread that mentioned changing the slave cylinder to a c6 cylinder, (I perchased at fred bean) My question is how to adapt it, do I have to change out master cylinder also, I thought that I read that wasn't needed?

I believe everyone is using the C5 hydraulics......thats what I did.

Have you had any issues, and how many miles are on the new swap? Did you do the drill mod to increase line pressure for the heavier pressure plate?

While you are in there replace the slave. The C6 won't work. Use the LS6 slave. I added the Cartek adjustable master to mine and it's perfect.

We just put one in a low mile 04 Z and kept the stock slave. Feels stock.
