i recently replaced the rotors and pads....... i noticed today that there is a slight grinding when i step on the brakes..... sounds like it coming from the rear passenger side.... that was the same side that i struggled with getting off the rotor..... i ended up knocking off the E brake pad.... could that have something to do with the grinding?? is there an adjustment needed when that happens??? i only hear the noise when i step on the brakes

Maybe it is just the ceramics. 2 weeks ago I installed new rotors and ceramic pads and the right rear was making a grinding sound too. But, now it is barely noticeable.....or else I'm getting used to it.....or my old ears are hearing less and less! 3 days after I put the pads on, I even pulled the caliper to see if I could spot anything odd or something unusual on the face of the rotor. I didn't find anything wrong, so am thinking it's just the harder ceramic pads needing time to get bedded.
i used semi metallic pads..... it's only on the passenger side... when i put down the divers window i can hear it.. but when i put down the passenger window its pretty clear its coming from that side.... could it be bad pads??
