Headers?
I know that there have been post on this topic before but i have searched and maybe i'm just an idiot, I dont know but can someone please help me? 
I am looking to buy a full exhaust and was wondering which one would give me the most power? I need some info links replies anything. Thanks.

Thanks.Best advice I can give you is to contact a forum vendor that you like and trust and tell him what you want out of your car (as far as HP gain and performance). They can set you up with "matched" modification parts that will funtion together to acheive your goal.

Thanks for the advice I appriciate it but would like some opinions. Is there any one set of headers that would give more than the rest. what I guess i'm trying to ask is what set of headers has been dyno proven to add the most H.P. to a stock ls1? thank you

I have read some posts that a certain brand of headers gave more HP than others. Some posts say the test was biased, others say no. I don't think that there is going to be a big difference in HP from long tubes if they are the same diameter and length runners and collectors. I would recommend you get the ceramic coated ones. The type of cats you run, type of mufflers, x-pipe and the size of the system-2.5 or 3"- will make as much a difference or more than the brand of long tubes you buy. My .02.

Ok, here is what I have.
I bought a set of RK Sport Headers cheap here on the forum from a member. Brand new, never installed.
I already had a Blackwing air fliter, MAF screen removed and did a dyno run. Dyno'ed at 301 hp
After installing RK Sport headers , Corsa Exhaust and LS6 intake , dyno'ed at 331, Did a dyno tune and that brought it up to 345.
I have heard the the LS1 exhaust manifolds are not the bad as you might think. Maybe just a dyno tune would be a better bang for the buck. You would have to dyno tune again after adding anything like exhaust, but for ~ $500 for a tune, comared to ~$1000-$1300 for header and install, you decide.

Thanks for the information I know I keep asking questions but, any ideal setup opinions? The reason I ask is all of you are no strangers to corvette performance and before I make the $1500++ plunge for an exhaust system I would like to get any opinions on this. thanks again

Just don't know if I have the answers.
Like I said before and tiojames said too, there really isn't one ideal set-up. Everybody will recomend something different. Main thing is you find a mechanic/tuner that you trust and ask him what he has treid and proven to work together.
One note. If you are going to add headers, get an x-pipe and cat-back system all at the same time and do all the work together. That will really let the car exhale better. Then think about a LS6 intake, aftermarket air filter system, and ported Throttle body to let the car really breath. Then a dyno tune. You will be on the right track to happy driving.
That should to run you around $4000. Now, if you still have more money than that, you can ask more questions. Otherwise, class dismissed.

My personal opinion, I just installed the LG street series headers with their offroad X-pipe. I got 33hp, and 26ft.tq at the rear wheels. For $995, I think its one hell of a deal.

Thank you for all the information that you all have provided I am very gracious and I think I am on my way to the shop tomorrow but the only one close to me (to my knowledge) is RPM out of nashville which is where I am, does anyone know of any others reasonably close and I have a $8,xxx budget just sold my old project

Call Lou @ LG His Pro Long Tubes sound awesome and I gained 35 RWHP and 31 WT, went from a 12.33 @ 114 to a 11.89 @ 118, with the only change being headers and a tune, on the same 60 and tires... with that much $, you might as well beef up the rear end (DTE brace and shafts), add a clutch and a small cam and be done.... well we are never done with mods

best bet if your doing it yourself is to get a full exhuast system, that has no welding involved,bolts all together, like the lg system. its probably the best but it is the most expensive. well worth the money, then i would do a clutch next before heads and cam, i did the heads, cam, headers and all bolt ons before i did the clutch and with all that power your stock clutch will be going shortly.
