Default C5R block question

I have always wondered this but never posted. Gene has the C5R blocks at a great price as we all know. What does it take to put a C5R block in my 00 coupe? What exactly do I have to buy for it to work? How much HP should I be at once it's all said and done?

All you need is Crank, rod, pistons, cam, and a good set of heads. The rest of your parts should transfer over to the new block. The C5r block can make huge power 500+ rwhp. It all depends on the comb.

That price is for a bare block. Like the other guy said you will need pistons, crank rods cam chain. You'll have another $5000 in parts to make a short block out of it, and thats if you assemble it yourself.

Big$$. Check out LS1tech for some info on sleeved LS2 427s for much less than what a C5R would cost.
