Brake Question
Hi,
I'm no expert on brakes. I was told not to use ceramic pads because they are "hard" on the rotors, whatever this means. Don't the C5's come with ceramic pads from the factory? Also, a friend in the local Corvette club told me about a corvette forum special on drilled pads and rotors, I believe by Bendix. Do you know where I can inquire about these?

Yes ceramic brakes are harder. That means they can wear rotors faster... But they create little to no dust.
With rotors and pads being an easy DIY and with NAPA stock style rotors going for $27 each, I'll trade a little less rotor life for a lot less wheel dust/cleaning.....
