Default Coolant leak

On my stock '99, I get occasional puddling right under the front of the engine. Jacking it up and crawling under, the coolant is coming down the left front corner of the block and dripping on the the front spring. Does this pump have a weep hole? If so where is it? Does this sound like the standard water punp failure? I did check the torque on the 6 water pump bolts. Does a coolant change ever stop a leak? I did search the forum for this and didn't come up with much. Thanks for any comments.

The water pump does have a weep hole, and once they start to leak there is no reliable way to fix it except to replace the water pump.
Some will leak intermittently, but then can suddenly fail completely.

The front of the engine is the water pump, look up from the bottom and find the water pump pulley. There is a small hole right next to it, touch it with your finger, if it dripping or wet, then the gasket seal in the pump is going.
