Default $$$ on Heads/Cam?

What would I expect to pay (just a price range) for stage II heads/cam with LS6 intake and pulleys (not including labor)? My wife's 99 warranty is about up and I'm thinking about these mods. TIA!

Agostino Racing Engines (ARE) Stage II (same as most other tuner's stage III) Heads/Cam package is $2850 plus shipping. This includes 2.08 or 2.055 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves, custom grind lunati camshaft and pushrods.

Your best bet for an LS6 Intake manifold would be one of the high discount GM Parts suppliers on the web.

Good luck finding an underdrive pulley in the next few months, but the one you would want is the ASP and it is around $259 with belts and a new pulley bolt.

Let me know if you want any more information on ARE's head/cam packages.

Well, this would depend on what you are looking to achieve and what other mods you have. Don't go by stages. There is no rule for staging a head. It seems like most of the tuners are now using the big valve heads as their stage II setup. GTP still uses a 2.02" valve in the stage II head. This size valve is enough to support 430-440 RWHP with all the other accessories and maintain phenominal low lift characteristics!!! If this is what your goal is, the heads should be $2000. Custom cams are in the $475 range for a good cam. You can go from mild to wild on the camshaft selection, depending again on what the purpose of the car is, emissions, idle, etc. With the right heads and cam, 425+ RWHP is very possible while maintaining a near stock idle(just a little more than stock).
The intakes can be had rock bottom priced at an online GM dealer for ~$400 with all the necessary plumbing.
Pulleys, as Matt stated are very hard to come by right now and can be had for around $259
If you are going to do heads and cam, I would also include new lifters as well as new timing chain and gears. Very cheap insurance while you already have it apart.
Putting Heads and Cam on a car is like buying a whole new car. When you get in it for the first time and drive down the street, it will be so redically different, it will feel like a brand new car. As a matter of fact, if you smell real closely and close your eyes, you will even be able to smell that new car smell. Just don't do that when you are driving....

2001Roadster- Shop around, then please give us a call when you are ready. We offer Katech Head and cam pkgs for less money than most other tuners offerings. These are well engineered pkgs and Katechs offerings are among the best available. Just ask GM! :yesnod:
We also sell the LS6 manifolds w/accessories as well as the Underdrive pulleys. We have a few of each item in stock. Thanks!
