I've seen this done before with an air system but it seems to be that it should be possible on the C5 electronicly since the throttle is controlled by the computer. For safety, I believe you could use the clutch starter interupt switch to prevent the blip if the button is pushed with the clutch engaged.

I'm not sure if you could do something with a modified program for the PCM or if you could go external and piggyback on the existing system. Working with a modified PCM would be ideal and safer.

Anyone have a tuner to recomend or any comments?

Thanks!

Mike

I personally LOVE the idea.. I have brought this up on the forum a few times and had bunch of Eye Rollers.... I still think the idea is sweet.. Let us know how it works out!!

F! that heel toe crap!

I need to look at the service manual to get more info.

From a safety point of view, if something is wrong, just release the button. I was also going to tap into the clutch switch so the blip won't work if the clutch is not engaged.

Actually when I considered it.. I thought it would be easier to have it timed so that no matter how long you held the Blip button you were only going to get .5 - 1 second full throttle blip.

Should be easy to recreate the pedal being momentarily mashed.. Only way to Blip again is to release the button for another go...

The Clutch idea is Excellent... I'd hate to coming around an apex in 1st gear and have a full throttle blast...
