question bleed brakes
I have a 2000 c5 that I got new with 35,000 miles on it and I am going to change brake pads . How often do I need to bleed the brakes?

If the pedal is solid you don't have to bleed, however it's a good idea to change and flush every couple of years. I would change and flush the fluid now as long as you are doing brake work. The Fluid has an alcohol base and will absorb moisture from the air. Changing and flushing periodically is a good idea. Many German cars require it every 2 years according to the owners manuals.
Make sure none gets on the paint, it will destroy paint.
