Clutch time, any suggestions?
Thinking of having a Spec Stage3 installed but really do not have any idea on the best application.
My set is as follows, 99FRC, Vararam, LS6 intake, Thunder 230/224 cam and Melrose LT headers. Best run pre cam was 12.20@114 with DR's.
Thanks in advance.

LS7 clutch and flywheel with hardened output shaft and DTE Brace if you keep running quarters.
I run a RPS clutch which I love so that is anotehr option, but it is more money.

LS7 clutch here with 460-470 RWHP and hardened output shaft in the 3.90's. Add the Cartek adjustable master and you're good to go!

What kind of RW Torque are you making?
The LS7 clutch is a good option but does anybody know how much torque it can handle and for how long?
My current tune is only making 390 RWTQ, but I'm still going with the RPS clutch & flywheel. It's rated at 550-570 lb./ft. torque, so I can plan further power increases knowing the limits of the clutch.
My 'Vert will be going to Andy's for this install & 3.90 and possibly a G5X3 upgrade from my Comp Cam 224/224 .581" 114 LSA.

I'm planning to go with the LS7 when my LS6 goes.
