Repro wheels can be 6-8 pounds heavier which can affect performance. You get what you pay for. I would not use repro's on the track. If just street driving and for looks, they are fine.
Guys (and Girls) that have bought 'em and vendors that sell 'em. My C6 ZO6 repro's from Tomz are 4 lbs per wheel heavier. They are OE Concept wheels, but had a Verde Wheels sticker on the wheel itself. If you buy them from Tomz or Bob at House of Wheels, ask them before you buy 'em. They should know.
Here is a link that has stock wheel weights, page down thru the post you'll find it buried in the info. You could ask the vendor what the weight is before purchasing.
