tire pressure sensor question
i dont have them in my iforged wheels, before i would just get the "service tire system" on the DIC, now i get right front tire flat, left front tire flat, etc. it also says reduced handling and max speed 55 mph on the DIC.
how do i get it back to just telling me to service tire monitoring system??

19/20 inch wheels, they have been on the car for 8 or 9 months and this is the 1st time its done that.
all i can figure is that i had the sensors in a bag in the garage and maybe the car picked up on the signal and now thinks the tires are flat.

yeah the 2000's ( I think) and up you can turn them off...I know its after 99 cuz I am living with the damn message

Hmmmm. I put on my iForged wheels last fall and didn't put in the sensors either. The only message I get is the service tire system that you mentioned. Half the time, I don't even get that. I've never gotten a flat tire message or reduced power message. And FWIW, I think those messages can be deleted on 2001+ models, not 1997-2000. The Z06 came out in 01, so it's possible on 01 and up.

yeah, like I said not sure if it was 2000 and up or 2001...I know you can't do it on my 99..

i think its because my old wheel sensors were too close to the car in the garage....
