The passenger side signal went out and I replaced the bulb and it did not fix the problem. I thought maybe I got the wrong bulb and took the driverside out to use as a check. Now they both do not work and I get the rapid blinking. Any info would be great.

Did you put the original bulb back in the driverside?

I replaced both fronts a couple of weeks ago and had the same problem.
I pulled both new bulbs to make sure I had the correct bulbs, which I did. I noticed that the new bulbs were easy to pull out which led me to believe I didn't install them correctly, not completed seated.
That turned out to be my problem, not seated. The bulbs should be a little hard to pull out if they are properly seated.
I just went to wash my car and i was fiddling with my hazard lights and the passenger side turn signal started working. I then took out the drivers side and put a new bulb in and and wiggled it while the hazard lights were on. Now they both work. Thanks to all who helped. This place is great.
