After banging my car's rear end up, I got my car back and it is pretty hard to break the tires loose when power shifting first to second (used to easily be able to do this before the accident). Now, when doing that, my clutch just slips and grabs after a second or two. Also, it is hard to burnout as the clutch just slips at high rpms, when I dump it into first. Also, I hear lots of loud chatter in neutral at idle. Is it my engine that is making less power or is my clutch shot?? Could my clutch be affected from the accident? Keep in mind, I did replace my worn pilot sports with new ones after the accident and also the performance alignment was returned to a regular alignment (less camber=more contact patch in straight line). Let me know your opinions guys....

It sounds like a clutch problem to me. How hard of a hit did your car take? With the torque tube these cars have, it is possible to transfer alot of energy to the front of the car during a rear-end accident. It is, therefore, possible your rear-end hit also caused some drivetrain damage as well. If this is the case, I would suspect the main culprit to be the pressure plate. However, once it is apart, I would replace all the parts. Good Luck!

I really don't know enough about the accident but if I were a gambling man, I'd say between the added traction of the new Pilot Sport's, as well as the possible damage your clutch has experienced, I'd say your motor is JUST FINE!
Go ahead and replace the clutch with a '01 assembly! You will be very very satisfied!
Say, I know you are about to add nitrous, I'd wait to add the clutch <for further proof> until after you've made a few passes on a 150 shot. That way, you'd know if your clutch is totally gone! How many miles on it?
