There are a few torx srews to remove around the door handle (they are concealed by a removable cover). This is not the handle to open the door but the one you use to close it. Remove these and just pull the panel away from the bottom and sides (pull hard). Also, remove the cover plate from around the door opening lever. The door panel has a "lip" on the top that latches on where the window is, and you'll have to lift up on it to get it off.

PoBoy is right on :D, and here's some more detail as to how I did it on my 2001.

On the cover plate around the interior door-opening handle, there are horizontal slots above and below the plate that are just bigger than a flat blade screwdriver. Fit the screwdriver in the slot and gently pry while at the same time pulling the door-opening handle toward you like you're trying to open the door. Be careful, however, as it's easy to press the screwdriver against the plastic and scar it.

There is about a 3 inch horizontal plastic cover plate on the door panel just inside of the fixed interior door handle. It pries away very easily with a small screwdriver, and once it's out you'll see it covered the 2 torx screws that PoBoy mentions.

After the above, there are five plastic force-fit connectors between the soft door panel and the actual door. Two are along the bottom, and if you lie down under the car and pull, gently, you'll see them. The third is along the back edge near the place where the two different sections of the door panel come togther. The fourth and fifth are on the front edge of the door, one near the speaker and one above it. I used two screwdrivers to fit between the door panel and the door, and I'd locate the screwdriver tips just near each force-fit connector. Be careful when you pull/pry, as the door panel is soft and so is the paint on the door. Once you get the panel slightly away from the door, lift upward to pull the entire panel off of a rim/edge along the top of the door where the window enters the door.

Good luck.
