After LG Pro header install next month we're thinking of heading to DTE in Indiana for tune. They are relatively close (4 hrs) and say they do combo of 90% tune on dyno and remaining 10% real-world driving. Additionally, they use wideband O2 sensor (had LG weld one of these before shipping headers).
Seems like the way to go...curious if anybody had DTE tune experience?
DTE installed a cam, headers, and gears for my '04 A4 last year and did a dyno tune. Performance was excellent and I didn't have any problems. No codes or other things that I've read about other cars having.
They are 300 miles away from me but I drove my car down there again 2 days ago (and flew home) to get heads, a strut brace, and another tune. I'm sure that the results will be equally amazing.
There have been a few threads on DTE tuning so do a search and you will see that there are dozens of people with stories like mine. I would recommend them without hesitation.
DTE did my LS2 swap w/cam package. I now have 6K hard miles on it and no problems. See signature for dyno numbers. I drive it everyday to work in summer. Get 16 city and 26 hwy.
