RPMs Staying up in neutral...Normal??
Hello,
I am not sure if this is normal, however when I take off into high RPMs and slow down or put it into neutral before stopping, My RPMs stay up around 2500 until the car comes to a complete stop. Is this normal, someone please help. Thanks.

After running the engine up to high RPM if I put the clutch in or shift to neutral the RPM drops to 1500 - 2000 and stays there for several seconds. It then drops to normal idle. The car has always done this and I think it is normal.
