Default Radio ****

I was just wondering what the switch surrounding the volume **** on the stock radio is for (the one that says SCV at the bottom).

SCV stands for Speed Compensated Volume. What it will do is automatically increase and decrease the volume of your radio based on the speed of the car, to help compensate for wind and road noise. It is a great option, I have mine set to one notch from the top.

I have it on my '98 Jimmy as well and really like the feature.

On my AE I usually run it all the way up or just one level down. Most of that is due to the noisy RF's and that I don't like the radio blairing when I come to a stop.
