My 03 is not lowered, but I found myself in a situation where I had to cross a number of speed bumps. I crossed these at a crawl, hoping for the best.
As normal, the Air dam did is scrapping, but on one bump, there was a second scrape that gave me chills.
Was Beautiful here yesterday, but have to wait for the rain to stop today to get her on the ramps to see what I really did to her.
What is the most likely touchdown point? (Thinking it was on the passenger side)
The things we call the "snurf bars" at the front of the frame - they start out being black. A&A makes a product to put on them with little wheels so you can actually roll over the bump instead of scrape it.

A&A also makes aluminum rails that you can put under the frame (below the rocker panels) that will keep you from high centering on the speed bumps. I have them and they have saved my a$$ a couple times. You could probably make them yourself very cheap. Also, if possible you should never have two wheels going over the speedbump at the same time. Angle it so that one wheel goes over at a time.

Frame rails are a good idea. I took off my air dam, and I am going to fab something like the big mouth you would see in the c4 section to direct air flow. I think I can do this and still have more clearence then the air dam.
Since having twin turbos installed my front end is quite lower. To tell you the truth i don't particularly like it Driveways can be a bitch now and any roads that are a little off balance i scrape also. Most of the time is just the flap that hits. But it's those other times
Lowered experience here. Turning off a street into a driveway with an up hill entrance rubs the front subframe support rails. The same thing happens when you leave. Going over a speed bump usually rubs the catlytic converters. You should be able to tell by the relationship of the part of the C5 and the obstacle when you hear the rubbing.
