Default 42 pound injectors enough?

I currently have them on the car. I am thinking about upping the boost (vortech v-2) and the car will be putting down close to 600RWHP. I am also getting the Kenny Bell BAP and a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump to go with it! Thanks for the help!

Think so. The math shows that:
42PPH inj's are rated at 3 bars, [43.5psi]. If you run them at 60PSI, then the rate is 49.6PPH.
The math for fuel required at 600RW, [using 680 FW],
indicates the injectors, at 90% DC, are going to have to be in the 56/60PPH range.[actual calc is 56.6PPH]
A 60PPH, will fill the bill, and give you a bit left over....

At 600 RWHP, you will be at the top of the duty cycle for that injector. It will work, but you will be at the top.

If you want some margin for error and a little overhead, go with 60# injectors.

I wasn't able to get away with 42 # injectors at 600 rwhp. The 42's worked great on the 500-520 rwhp ProCharger setup, but I had to upgrade with the turbos. The 60 # Mototrons work great.

If I had to do it over again I would start with the Mototrons. Buying the same parts over and over gets old.

Cheers,

Mark

I have the 60 Moto's in my N/A HEMI, @ 660FWHP. They are linear, and have good spray patterns.
