On my 2002 coupe everything has been just fine until now.
I just tried to start the car. Put the key in, turned it and... NOTHING!
I may have heard a click but I'm not sure. I don't see any messages displayed, steering wheel is locked, very limited electrical power. When I try to move the seat it barely moves. I hear a buzzing noise from whatever module is under the passenger floor. Any ideas of what the problem may be are greatly appreciated while I search the forums.
Okay. I tried it again a few times and I got the "pull key wait 10 seconds" message, but only once.
a micro relay in the passenger foot well is buzzing intermittently. it's #37 "monitored ld".
anybody know what this is for?

Is the battery Ok? Mine was ok until suddenly one morning, nothing.
Had that this morning along with a nice *click*click*click. I tried to charge my battery didnt seem to hold a charge then tried to use the charger to start and nothing more than click* click* click. I'm buying a new battery when I get out of the office and I will square off in round 2.
Thanks. I'm going to try the battery after I finish a few things at work.
Thankfully it's nice and sunny and warm (for here) today instead of cold and snowing. I'm sure people will get a kick out of watching me work on my car in the parking lot.
definitely a good idea to check for leaks since the computer is right below the battery. For some reason my positive terminal had growth on it the size of a human nose!
Classic... dead battery.Check that your battery hasn't cracked and leaked, and check the connections, but it is dead.
Battery has Delco fever,, replace with gelcell so you won't have leaks. Be sure to check under the existing battery for leaks. If you had a leak pull out the battery box and clean it. I used baking soda to neutralize the acid, then washed out. Dry completely and I used rustoleum flat black brushed on and it matches the frame. Best of luck. Don't get too excited on what you have and if you try to jump it, it might still not start given the current condition of your battery. 99 Nassau Blue
Had the same problem, worked one second and dead the next. It was actually a good thing it happened because the battery was just starting to leak. Put in an Optima and had no problems since.
