Air Bag Switch Problem! Help!

The switch wire plug (yellow plug that plugs into the existing yellow air bag plug) does not appear to be compatable. When I compare each they just do not appear to be made to fit into one another. I do not want to cut any wires dealing with the switch kit or the car.
Is it possible that my kit was made incorrectly? Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be much appreciated....Thanks

The yellow plug you want for the passenger air bag is NOT the one mounted at the intersection of the steering column and the dash. That is the driver's side connection.
The one you want is a little futher under the dash (but on the driver's side) about mid-way to the fire wall. They are both almost a floresent yellow.
You should have two plugs with your air bag switch. You should unplug the existing harness and plug each into its corresponding mate in the switch wiring harness.
It's good to be careful about this install. Mine took me quite a bit of time because I was being very methodical about this install as there is no real way to test air bags w/o deploying them.
Good luck!

I guess I found the wrong wire under the passenger side. It was a single plug which had a small amount of tape around it. It was located more on the passenger side.
I will look again and see if there is another one more towards the drivers side.
Am I right in thinking that none of the switch wires plugs or has anything to do with the DRIVERS SIDE air bag?
Thanks for taking the time to help me!
