grinding when going into 4th..

grinding when going into 4th..
when i shift into 4th fast or say i take my car to redline in first then put it in 4th it grinds? i have warranty so is this a major problem or an easy fix?

I'd say you have a problem, but good luck getting a dealer to cover it if they can't duplicate the problem under "normal" driving conditions. Speed shifting and redline skip shifts, might not be considered "normal". I hope they cover it for you.

I would stop doing this and your tranny may go another 50k before a rebuild. If your tranny works fine under normal conditions then I would leave well enough alone. Sometimes the "fix" is worse than the "problem".
