Raptor shift light install question
I found this great install guide from a couple years back but have a question on the wire color.

Are they (the wire colors) all the same for all years or did they change. The thread is on a 2000, mine is a 1997. Knowing GM they may have gotten a better deal on different colored wires from year to year.
I also have my service manual and can't find the page that has the insturment panel wiring guide.
Any help would be great, don't want to short something or another.
