99 c5 fuel gauge incorrect

99 c5 fuel gauge incorrect
periodicly my fuel guage will drop to empty, and reseve fuel warning will be displayed ,even though I know the carr has plenty of gas.Any ideas.

Reset one of your trip odometers when you fill up with gas, and figure out your mileage. You'll soon get a good feel for how far you can go on a tank.

been there done that, only use chevron gas no further problems

too much sulfur content in the fuel will cause this condition. Techron will help clean the fuel sensor of sulfur contamination.
Make sure its the concentrate
