I have a set of Fiske Wheels on my 2000 'vert. One of them started leaking on my last road trip. I had the tire removed and put silicone sealant on the seam on the inside of the wheel, let it set up for 24 hours then was able to get home.
Has anyone ever separated their wheel, applied new sealant to the seam? If so, what would one suggest as the torque applied to the bolts? I asked Fiske and all they would say was to send the wheel back to them. We aren't talking "Rocket Science" here....just remove the 20 plus bolts and apply sealant, put it back.
