Default LS6 VS LS1 intake question..

I have an 01 Z06 and may be selling my stock intake to someone (from the airbridge forward) who owns an 03 LS1 Vette. He is looking for confirmation that this will fit his car. Can you guys help me out?

What would the point be? 01+ C5's came with the LS6 intake.

All LS1 motors from '01 on came equipped with the LS6 intake, and that included the F-Bodies.

Try and sell it to someone and make a few dollars...to those who own 2000 or earlier.

I beleive he is returning his car to stock, and just wanted him to hear it from someone other than the guy who might be selling it to him.

Thanks for the replies guys.

From the airbridge forward? You must be talking about the air filter intake, not the intake manifold, right? If that's the case, then the other posts are not necessarily correct in relation to your post, as they are referring to the intake manifold that sits on the top of the engine.

If my understanding of what you're saying is correct, his air filter intake is indeed different, and your air filter will work on his car.

But, you might want to clarify what he means because he may be talking about the intake manifold, and you may be thinking he's talking about the air filter intake.
