Column lock letter: HELP PLEASE
I received a letter from GM stating that they are extending my warranty to 'fix' the column lock if it locks up. The letter said that I was not to take the car to the dealer, just keep the letter in the glove box for reference if needed.
My question is: The new recall says to take out the lock plate on my six speed manual. I am confused, can someone please help clear this up before I go to the dealer and try to get the lock plate removed.
I never received a letter saying they would take out the lock plate on my 2004 manual tanny.
