I am looking to replace my factory thin spoke wheels with upgraded. I am going to use Michelin PS-2 tires. 305 on the rear, if possible, and 275-35 on the front. Very important to clear my Wilwood brake caliper. Looking for reccomendations.
Are you running the big 14" rotors as well?
If so, getting the right wheel is quite a challenge. Two different high end wheel companies both missed the mark after telling them everything there was to know. Spokes hit the rear calipers big time. They suggested wheel spacers, not my idea of a custom made to order wheel if you need to run spacers, my opinion.
I agree with you on ordering custom wheels only, especially, with any caliper or rotor mod's. But as I mentioned, both custom wheel companies, one being iforged hit my rear calipers. Maybe you could talk to someone WW to give you some assistance. Or do the measuring yourself.
Each company did take the wheels back without any bs.
