I see a few posts on upgrading clutches. I myslef need to upgrade also. I think the cartek clutch is the way to go but for some reason I remember it being cheaper a year or so back?? Eitherway clutches are a wear item so we need a GOOD PRICE!
RPS, TExtraila all too much money for my blood.
WE want the cartek clutch and we WANT a DEAL!
So cmon cartek, hook it up guys. Can you do a GP for us?
A shipped out price and a installed price at the shop. That way people who live near you guys can just come in and the others can have it shipped.
I know for a fact the cartek unit WORKS! Is easy to drive and will HOLD POWER. Thats what I want...
Let us know...

I see a ton of people talking about upgrades: H/C's, all sorts of FI, bigger CI motors (must be a dozen 402's in progress). So I know there some need for upgraded clutches.
A few guys over in the FI section really like the Cartek, holds pretty big power, cost effective, easy engagement, etc.

I'd be interested but I just put mine in. You can check with Rick at Synergy, he might have some in stock.
I just called Rick to see if he wanted to offer a group buy. He pawned the phone off to one of his employees, so evidently he doesnt want to talk to me right now. I guess I bother him too much about finishing my car.. He does have them in stock though.
Anyways, when he calls me back I'll let you guys know.
Jeff
BTW, I already have a brand new Cartek clutch. I just dont have a car..
I think they would have at least responded by now but it looks like they ignored it. I think you have your answer
Honestly I dont think these guys "roam" on the boards that much.
I think they usually only post on say, a new product or new car they just built.
I would call them up and ask but I am over seas in the carribean doing med school. Im back home in NY in May. Ill be calling them if no response by then....
I spoke to Dave from cartek on thureday and told him that there are forum members looking to do a g.p. on there clutch. He has been really busy getting some members cars ready for the esc corvette challenge, that is being held today. One of you guys should call him and organize this I know he will help you guys out. And they dont go on the net that much. By the way Im an a4 guy. Good luck
Call And talk to Dave at 908-317-4496. He might be able to do something. I just had their level 7 clutch installed in my car by them and it feels close to stock as far as peddle pressure. I ran the same clutch in my car for about a year with many drag passes on it (I don't know the exact number I have a drawer full of time slips). My car back then was putting down 440hp and 401tq through 4:10's. You could also send Email to Dave or Julio through the Cartek.net web site. Good luck guys.
