Hi all! I'm currently in a '04 GTO and I am going to (hopefully) be purchasing a C5 (maybe '99-01). What are things that I should be on the lookout for? Any common problems? I am trying to avoid buying a used car and being either "nickeled & dimed to death" or hit with having to do major repairs (the last used purchase was a Mercedes...all I have to say about that experience is "NEVER AGAIN!")
buy a 01 plus c5 is anything -- if anything dose goo wrong its usually easy to fix and cheap -- its a chevy still lol -- but any way a hell of a fun car
If you want to know most of the hints, tips, and quirks, then read the sticky entitled "weights, measurements,...." in C5 General. There are many "usual" quirks associated with the C5, and some that aren't so usual!
the sticky at the top of C5 general is a must read.
