Yeah I have a 03 Z and I am running 18x12's on the rears with BFG t/a g-force drag radials that are 30/315/18. Will lowering my car cause me to rub since they are wider? Thanks
It all depends on wheel offset. I am running 18/19 combo and I have to run a 1/16 spacer to keep from rubbing inside rear wheel well during aggressive driving.
Lowing always changes the camber and caster the wheel placement.
I recommend doing a alignment after lowering.

Your wheels are already sticking out passed the lip. right?
Lower your car, hit a pothole etc., tire hits lip, and fractures the fender, end of story!
Sounds like a tub, and proper fitting wheels are in order.
I understand what you are saying about hitting a pothole but lowering on stock bolts is not going to put me that close to my tires I just would like to know if its going to rub?

Most guys with a 305/315 run an 11'' wheel not a 12. Having said that, because of your wider wheel, you might still have to remove the brake ducts.
I just helped someone lower their car on stock bolts with 12's on the rear, and although his tires did stick out a hair, we didn't notice any problems. But, this was only a few days ago, so I don't know if it will settle that much more to cause an issue.
